I need 1000 of them for this year, I guess it could be worse, that’s only 3 a day or so right? Well if anyone would like to help with this, it is a great cause. They can be very simple or very elaborate. Please let me know if you want to help and I will get you the info for sending them to our local office.

Little Purse Scrapbook
I saw this little purse scrapbook http://stampinwithmj.blogspot.com/ )and just had to try and make one. They are quit easy and fast to make. This one was not finished but I sent it with my niece so she could finish it for her new daughter.
This is a 12x12 sheet of paper. Score at 4” on each side. The score lines on the outside corners are shown with the triangles of solid purple paper. The 2 side folds are also shown with the triangles of solid purple paper. For the flap I cut a piece of solid purple paper 4x5” and used a corner round on the front side fold at 2” and attach to back of purse.
Hope that helps, if not please e-mail me and I will try again.
Another Purse Scrapbook
Most of the time I have no clue as to the name or brand of paper I use. I get it home and put it away according to color and totally forget where I got it. But this one is new and I really love it!! It is the new SU Simply Scrapin "Wish". It is double sided, and so easy to work with.
I am going to make some of these for Christmas but make it into a box. I will fill it with candy and a gift card for the girls. I am making wallets for the boys.
Purse Scrapbook
1 piece 12”X12” paper

Fold all 4 sides at score lines toward the inside unfold.
Fold 4 corners at score lines toward inside.

Make-a-Wish
I will be joining the wonderful group of people who donate their time and energy to making a child's wish come true, at make-a-wish. I have mixed feelings about being part of this wonderful group. Not because I don't believe in what they are doing but because it has hit so close to home for me. I think I am afraid it will bring up all the old feelings of fear for me. Most of you know that our youngest son was diagnosed with cancer "Osteosarcoma" in his right leg, when he was 12 years old. He is doing great now at 16 years old, but it was a long year of chemo. The reason I want to work with Make-A-Wish is simple..... Mitch received a wish when he was sick. He wanted a lap top computer and a TV game. Well they took him on a shopping spree to best buy and boy did he get what he wanted. He said he would go through it all again for all the "cool" stuff he got. I don't really think he would but it sure helped him get through the 20+ hospital stays and pass the time when he couldn't be around anyone because his blood count was down. So wish me luck and courage.
