Ok well this is not a Mother’s Day gift but I got to thinking, June is a very popular wedding month so had to make one of these too.

Nice to be done with this little gift. I think it turned out very well and I know it will be loved by the bride. I could not go to bed until the wee hours because I just couldn't stop working on it. lol I will be working on our Texas trip book tomorrow. And here is the inspiration picture, isn’t she just a beautiful bride. I cut the boots with my cricut and an SVG made in Ink scape.

More Black and White Wedding Hearts

Another black and white heart wedding card. I used the cricut and the wedding cartridge to cut the shoes and the hat. These hearts are from the stampin up design studio. I haven’t used it much but when I do I like it. I printed the hearts out on white card stock and cut them out to layer on this card.

Black and White Wedding Hearts

I really like these heart cards. This if my first try at the easel card. It is so nice and I will be making many more of these. I have a bunch of these hearts left from the last set of black and white cards I made so I am sure you will be seeing many more of them too.

Wedding Always make me cry Cards too

This is the card that inspired my Weddings make me cry challenge box. I cut the hearts with my cricut and SCAL. The tie is just a little V cut out of the heart and trimmed at the top to look like a tie. I then ran the white hearts and tie part of black hearts through my cuttlebug in the Swiss dots. The base of the card is white card stock the top of the card is white card stock I ran through the cuttlebug in swirl folder and punched the corners with the stampin up ticket punch.

Weddings always make me cry.

I took the challenge “what kind of box is this” and this is what I came up with. I used the little tissue package but I had to take them out of the package so it didn't show. The hearts are a stampin up punch. Let me know if you take the challenge, I wouldn’t want to miss it.

Beautiful Bride and Groom

Now this one is a winner! I found this blog and have really enjoyed the work she does. I hope you like my take on her project.

Ready for Christmas???

Yeah, me either but I thought if I put the calendar up it might help me get in the mood. I was going to make a Christmas “something” today. I went to the paper rack to pick some Christmas colors but I just couldn’t do it. I ended up picking blue and white, I told my friend it would be a Christmas “something” well it just didn’t want to be anything Christmas. It ended up being this really cute little double slider box for a wedding. Lol
I am sure I will get in the mood soon but the weather is just so nice still. Give me a day of bad weather where the doors have to be closed (or at least the pool is closed) and I will be ready.
Wish I could take a picture and show just how cool this little box is.

This card is totally CASEd but as usual I don’t know from who….. I know, I know. I really am trying to work on that. So anyway if I CASEd you please let me know and I will happily add your link.
Ingredients: (oh no I didn’t forget) lol
Ballet Blue Stampin up
Basic Black Stampin up
Whisper White Stampin up
Stamp – from ABC Distributing
Pearls from Hobby Lobby

I heat embossed the top heart paper with white ink and glitter embossing powder before cutting in the cricut.

Ok now I remember why I don’t do ingredients.... Hope I remembered everything.

CASEd

Well I have been on vacation all week and finely had time to play today. I only had a mammogram to do this morning. Glad to have that out of the way for another year. I cut a few trees and bushes in the front yard and pulled the weeds until it got a little warm then up stairs I went. I worked with my cricut and made these first two cards. They were fast and easy. I wanted another fast and easy project so I turned to this little journal purse. The original can be found HERE. The black and white one is not covered, that is the way it came. I just added a pocket to cover the logo on the front and back. I did cover the inside of the covers. These are fast and sooooooooooo cute. Thanks Becky.

Cricut Lantern

I have a lot of new projects coming up. I have been very busy outside the past few weeks but have found some time to craft. I really need to start work on Christmas items. I just can’t seem to get going with it this early and when it is soooooooo hot outside. Maybe once it drops below 90 I can start to think of Christmas.
I did get to visit my niece today, she is hanging in there. Bless her heart she is always on the move and keeps very busy. She went into labor at 25 weeks and she is on strict bed rest now. She has been in the hospital for over a week now and I think they will be keeping her a week maybe two more. Thanks for all the prayers sent for her. This is their first baby and I wish things would have gone easier for her. But she is keeping a great attitude and ready to do what ever she needs to keep her little boy safe. Ok on to the first project:
This is a fast project with the Cricut. I am having such a good time with the cricut and can’t wait to learn more about it. I twisted 6 strands of light wire to form the handle. The paper is textured (form Hobby Lobby). I will be making some of these in red, green and gold to hang on the Christmas tree, I will poke a little clear Christmas bulb through the bottom. I guess I have started thinking of Christmas; I just haven’t started work on it yet.
