Mini Notebook cover tutorial

I was asked over on SCS for the directions for this little notebook cover so I thought I'd post it here too. I am almost ready for balloon fiesta, doing the last of the food shopping today after Robin and I go to breakfast. I know this is our walking day but we are starting the party early.lol Have a great rest of your week.

1. Fold on score lines, wrap around the notepad and sticky strip together adhere the 4 3/8 x 3 “ DSP on the side with the seam of the wrapper, this will be the front.
2. Stamp the image on the white CS. Adhere to the 2 2/2” x 2 ½” CS and adhere the 2 ½” x 2 ¾” piece of CS. Adhere this to front of notepad wrapper.
3. Adhesive the tablet topper DP to notepad. (I use any type of glue I have on hand).

Last post before Balloon Fiesta

Well this will be the last post before Balloon Fiesta starts. I will be working on a few projects while we are there but mostly it is a giant party for 10 days. I was so excited to learn we will be flying the Penguin balloon for special shapes and a regular shape the rest of the time. We have a wonderful pilot and we always have a great time. If you ever have a chance to come to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta you should definitely do so. It is a beautiful sight to see. On to the card…. It is one I made earlier in the year but forgot to share it. I like the way the image is cut into pieces and put back together.

Season of Friendship

It is always a good season for friendship. My friends have pulled me through some really tough times and are still there for me. I am so thankful for them.
This is all stampin up, I used the SU heart punch with it.

Ready for Christmas???

Yeah, me either but I thought if I put the calendar up it might help me get in the mood. I was going to make a Christmas “something” today. I went to the paper rack to pick some Christmas colors but I just couldn’t do it. I ended up picking blue and white, I told my friend it would be a Christmas “something” well it just didn’t want to be anything Christmas. It ended up being this really cute little double slider box for a wedding. Lol
I am sure I will get in the mood soon but the weather is just so nice still. Give me a day of bad weather where the doors have to be closed (or at least the pool is closed) and I will be ready.
Wish I could take a picture and show just how cool this little box is.

This card is totally CASEd but as usual I don’t know from who….. I know, I know. I really am trying to work on that. So anyway if I CASEd you please let me know and I will happily add your link.

Baby Thank You

Oh I am sooooooooooo sick of doctors!!!! I have had a batch of test and procedures over the past 2 weeks, but I am happy to say it is not breast cancer… Woooooo Hoooooooooooo. Glad it is all over and I am ready to play again.

These cards were cut with the cricut using the new arrival cartridge cut at 3”, I cut the inside at 31/4" so they would stick out of the top a little. I am still having so much fun with the cricut and want to learn all I can about it. If any of you have tips please leave me a post. Thank you for all the prayers sent my way for my niece and me. My niece is still on bed rest but her little boy is staying put and “cooking” as he should. She is at about 28 weeks and doing quite well. She is such a little trooper and she has 2 wonderful big sisters that help anyway they can.
