1st Project of 2012

My first paper craft of 2012 and I hope I will have more time to craft this year!!!I bought this SVG (December Gifts) from HERE and I really love it. It was not hard but it was very time consuming. I will make this one again for sure. I wish I would of used prettier paper, I just grabbed a handful I had on my desk to give it a try. I hate to use my best paper for 1st time projects.

1st post of 2011

Some of the cricut things we did for Christmas gifts. My youngest son Mitch wanted to do these Call of Duty Black Op window stickers for his and his friend’s cars. We used shelf contact paper to test cut them and then went and got the more expensive cricut vinyl.  Mitch put the ones we cut out of the shelf contact paper on his car “just to see how it looked”, they stuck well and looked good. In the end the shelf contact paper worked better than the cricut vinyl for what we were doing. They have been on the cars in the snow, rain, wind and crazy freezing weather. He put one on my car too, I just took it off today (totaly not my style). It was stuck well but came off easy enough. He also made his girlfriend a cupcake for her car but I didn’t get a picture of it yet.

I also made this T-n-T sticker for Terry (hubby) and Travis (oldest son) for their pro fisherman logo.

Another Christmas Card

Another Christmas card I will be sending out this year. I love this type of card, it is so fun. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Ok so like many of you I have told myself “I am going to use each one of my craft items, stamps/punches/programs… etc… at least once before I buy anything else”.  I have been telling myself this for a few YEARS now. Well this is it! I will make an item as soon as I can after I get my new item. This is the embossing folder (Stampin up Northern Flurry) and die (Stampin up Northern Frost) I ordered at Gina’s the other day and got today. I love this folder! I think I will be using this one a lot. The die is beautiful (a little time consuming picking out all the little pieces) I made a bunch of the snow flakes to use as I need them. I used pink because that was what was on the desk but I like it.

Stampin Up Stamp a Stack

I had to get this embossing folder.

We couldn't decide if I already had this dear so I didn't get it, I should have because if I have it I can't find it.lol

Gift card holder.... Now that is easy gift giving.

Had a great time with Gina and friends. Gina always has such great ideas and I so enjoy spending time doing something I love. We played from 1pm to 5pm and left with 16 cards, 2 gift card holders, and 2 money holders.
Thanks again Gina.

Last post before Christmas

This is such a great card. I found the SVG HERE  but I think it could be printed and cut out by hand if you don't use SCAL and a cricut. Here

This is a little gift for 2 of the ladies I work with. I filled them with candy and put a pin in one and a bookmark in the other. I just love the way they turned out.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, and I wish you Peace, Faith, and Joy for the New Year.
Hugs to all

Christmas Tree

I made this little tree for my mother-in-law. They do a lot of traveling in their motor home so I thought it would be fun to have a pre decorated tree for it. I made the little bags to just fit over the mini lights.

Stampin Up Party

These are the cards we made at the last Stampin up party. We all had a great time and Gina, you ROCK! These are so cute and I think we "HOOKED" a few new stampers. I love it when that happens. lol Anyone interested in the list of items it took to make the cards and the prices please post a comment for me and I will send it to you.

Frosty Gift card holder

Matchbox Christmas Tree

Totally cased but can’t remember from where (sorry). It is very cute but don’t think I will be making many of these. It takes one piece of paper per box and a lot of sticky strip. Just don’t think I could get my money out of them.

Jolliest Time of The Year 3"x3" Card set of 6

3"x 3" Cards.

I made these as a set, I will be making a box or purse of some kind to hold them in the next day or so. I like how easy this set is to color.

Flacky Friends

I have had this set for a year or so, I really like it but have a hard time with it. I don't know if it is the coloring or the placement that I have such a hard time with. It just doesn't always look right. I do have to say I like the way this one turned out. If any of you use this set please let me know so I can check out what you have done.

Thanks and have a great weekend.

Jolliest time Of the Year

This is the stamp set I bought this month at club. I am not really ready to make Christmas cards but I am trying to stay with my pledge to use all my stamps. This set is really easy to color too.

I Need to go back to work!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok we all know I like to make cards and work in my craft room but…. I am starting to go a little stir crazy. I don’t think it is good or mentally healthy for me to have soooooooo much time on my hands. I might be posting every few days until business picks up and I am back at work more.
This first card was copied from Cynthia a stampin up demonstrator. I was having a hard time using the paisley stamp set. This works great for any occasion. I think I will try it with the emboss resist technique next time I use this set.

I found this dry erase board at Walmart for $1 last night and thought I would like to embellish it.
