Thank you for stopping by to check out my blog. I hope you find something to trigger a spark in you to go and create something beautiful (or at least enjoyable to make). I find this is a great stress reliever and look forward to sitting at my desk each day. If you need measurements, svg or directions please leave a comment (and a way I can contact you) and I will try to answer as soon as I can. So enjoy and if I can help just let me know.

BIA Cookbook .... I am just loving this little machine
I am loving my new little bind it all! I wanted a cookbook that would stand alone. I will be laminating the pages so it will stand up to my abuse. I really love this stamp set by Stampin Up.
The paper was a great find I got last night at Costco. It is a case with 72 pieces of 12x12 paper in it for $20. The paper seems to be good weight and it is very pretty.

The Challenge was really on for this one
The 1st Challenge was a color Challenge, you could only use:
Old olive
Vanilla
Choc. Chip
Red riding hood and
White
The 2nd Challenge was to use the sketch found here.
And the 3rd Challenge was that it was a birthday
card for my husband. I like most everyone else have such a hard time with the masculine cards. I do think this one came out pretty good and the color challenge was the perfect colors for this one.

Stamps and Tattoos
I can’t seem to get my computer to upload the new Christmas card photos tonight so I found this photo and thought I would share. My son’s girlfriend (now X) and I stamped out feet with the serene sunflower stamp by Stampin up. Next thing you know we are at the tattoo shop getting sunflowers tattooed on the tops of our feet. Sunflowers are my favorite and I added my mother’s initials (ZR) in the leaves. It really did come out nice.
I will try to get the new photos up tomorrow. Hope everyone has a great hump day.

Cute Little Christmas Gifts
What a cute little gift!
I made the marshmallow stir stick (here) with a coffee stir stick instead of a toothpick. I thought it might be a little safer for the little kids I want to give them to. I also put a little bag of mint chocolate bits to add to the hot chocolate. I followed the directions here for the first cup holder but found I needed to make it smaller for my cups. So the 2nd one is a bit smaller and worked well for the cups I have. I really like the way these turned out and will be making more of them.

Snow Something Challenge
I spent most of my day working on our Christmas cards. I used this for the Snow Something Challenge you can find here.
I really love this technique, I will quickly share how I do it, and if you have any questions just ask me.
I stamp and color the image any old way I feel like then I press versa-mark all over the image. I then use a clear mate embossing powder and heat. I then use white appliqué as snow and heat again then sprinkle with glitter. I find it does look better if you add the glitter after you heat and it sticks just fine to the snow.

Let's Bake A Christmas Treat Challenge
This card was made for a challenge over on PCP you can find it here . It was like no other challenge I have done and was quite fun. I don't think I would send this out as a Christmas card because of the flowers (they were the only ones I had on hand). I might change them to a more Christmas flower after a trip to the craft store. Other than that I like it.
I could only use dry embossing, flowers, bilng, giltter, white cardstock and black ink.
