Gina Inspired Birthday

This is a Gina inspired card I made for my oldest son’s 25th birthday. Yup I can’t believe it either…. He has almost caught up to me in age…

I have made myself a pretty little card to go on the back side of my name badge for Make-A-Wish. It really turned out pretty and helps me remember-There is nothing going to happen in my life I can’t handle with God.

June Hostess Club

Well this is the last Hostess club meeting but we had a great time. What a great bunch of ladies. As always Gina has out done herself with these cards. She will be the first to say they are “CASEd” but they all have her touch to them. Thanks again Gina.

Back all tan (burned) from the lake

Well we are back… No cards but a few pictures for you. We spent 4 days down at Elephant Butte Lake. We had such a great time. This is the first time Terry and I have gone alone in 22 years. We had a good time not keeping to any kind of schedule. We went out fishing on the boat every morning. Then we spent the day just hanging out or paddling around in the kayaks. I am not ready to go back to work tomorrow though. Wish I had a few more days to play.

I think I got the bigger fish!!!

On one of our walks I found these Devil's claws (Proboscidea louisianica). They are native to New Mexico but my husband (born and raised here) has never seen them. As kids we use to chase each other with them. I still think they are so cool.

Flower pot

I don’t know who really came up with these, they are everywhere but I sure like them. It was easy and quick to make and I always like that. I will be making more of these and using different types of flowers. I have some really cute dies for the sizzix/cuttlebug. Can’t wait to try them out maybe I can find more time this week.

Bookmarks

More craft show items. I want really inexpensive ($1.00 or under) items and these seem to fit. The ribbon with the sunflowers on it is mine and won’t be going anyplace. I love to read and I am always looking for a bookmark… yes I am one of "those people" - that fold the corner of the page…. I know some of you are ready to yell at me. I am really trying to use a bookmark now so please keep that in mind when you post back. Lol
