Thank you for stopping by to check out my blog. I hope you find something to trigger a spark in you to go and create something beautiful (or at least enjoyable to make). I find this is a great stress reliever and look forward to sitting at my desk each day. If you need measurements, svg or directions please leave a comment (and a way I can contact you) and I will try to answer as soon as I can. So enjoy and if I can help just let me know.

Tag I'm it
Lauri tagged me with something really fun! I had to go to the 6th picture folder on my computer and choose the 6th picture...post it and write about it! I am to tag 6 others.... Well I hate 6's so I will change it to 7's. Much nicer # anyway.... so here goes Hum...well I feel like this somedays.lol
This was taken by my son Mitch when we were in Disney World in Oct. 2003. He was 12 years old and had a great time with his camera that trip.
My 7 will be... Please check out their pages.. I think they do amazing work...

Paper Planet Challenge
It is my middle son’s 20th birthday today…. I can’t believe he is 20! Anyway I went up and made his card today but I haven’t given it to him so I will post it later. I wouldn't want him to see it here first. lol
So here is my entry for the paper planet challenge you can find HERE. This is the stamp set I won at Gina’s open house Saturday. I love this set! Thank you Gina, I always leave your house with some very cool things.
I have also started making all my own envelopes. Most can be made from plain copy paper and then dressed up with stamps. This one is a 6”x6” card so the envelope needed the paper to be 9 ½” x 9 ½”. I will be posting photos of how I do them soon.
Hope everyone has a great week.

You can find the directions HERE.
Be sure to use the LED type candle.
I did change the size of this one. It is only 4" tall, the one in the directions is 6".
Box Challenge On Splitcoast
These boxes are so cute. I have made the boxes for a long time now but I have never put this type of lid on them. I think these are great; I have made them in several different sizes. The
3 ½”x3 ½” box is full of matching 3”x3” cards with envelopes. You can find the directions for this beautiful little box HERE.

More Make-A-Wish (MAW) Thank You Cards
When it rains it pours… I totally believe that. Last week started off bad and ended worse. The company I work for is not doing all that great right now. We sale RV’s and with winter and the economy ... well you can see where I am going. I have chosen to cut my hours in hopes we won’t have to cut anyone else or let anyone go. We are all like family there. Hum…. Well most of us are family. lol So anyway things may get a little tight around here but we will be fine. Then Mitch (our youngest son) had a doctor’s appointment Friday, we had to be there at 2:00pm and he had already had his EKG and hearing test so we just needed to see the doctors. Well everything looked good until we told them he had a CT done back in May with another doctor. They went and pulled the chart on this and found the report. The other doctor never called us so we thought everything was just fine (and I still think it is). But there is a Hazy spot in his right lung and they want another CT to check it out. The doctor told us she doesn’t think it is anything but just wants to be safe. We have been down this road before and it turned out to be nothing but you just never know. So we pray and keep the faith that this isn’t anything to worry about. We ended up leaving the Hospital about 6:00pm felling like we had ran a marathon.

Paper craft planet BIA Valentines Day Challenge
This is my entry for the Valentines Day challenge on Paper Craft Planet in the Zutter Bind it all group. I think I gave to much time to finish the challenge; it doesn’t end until the 8th of Feb. I think Jan will have to start another challenge so we don’t get bored.
I cut the heart out of some left over cardboard I found in my office at work and I just couldn’t bring myself to through it away. So along with many other things I brought it home “just in case” I could use it. Lol I made this for part of my husbands valentine’s day gift. I didn’t want it to look girly at all but I couldn’t resist the flowers in the back. I still have a few embellishments I need to add along with a few more pictures but you get the idea I was going for. Hope everyone has a great week…

First card of 2009
I wanted to post my first card of 2009 before I go back to work tomorrow. I have been off work since the 19th and I'm still not ready to go back. Oh well......It pays for my stamps.lol
Last night when I was looking around the net for ideas, I found an article about how we all keep buying new stamps when what we really needed to do was learn to color the ones we already had. Now I wish I could remember where I read that because I sure think she is right. I keep buying new sets thinking… I can color that one I think. I just really need to learn to color better. So that is my goal I am going to work on techniques this year… Wish me luck.
This is my first try using my prism pencils and an art blending solution with blending nubs. Not bad for a first thy but I think it will improve over time.
