Top Note Box

I have seen these boxes around but when I wanted to make one I couldn’t find the directions. Soooooooo I had to make them up as I went. I think it came out really cute and I will be making them again. Next time I will write the directions down so I can share them with you. I am loving this top note die.

Baby Oh Baby

I am having internet issues…… It’s one of my love hate relationships. I have been busy making cards I am playing with the idea of selling them. Not sure that is something I want to pursue. So for now I am happy just playing with all my fun new toys.

I have babies on the brain lately I think. I am really getting the itch to be a Grandma. I love babies and it is so great when they come and visit but you can send them home. Lol My boy’s are not married or even dating seriously so I have to barrow babies when I can.

Layered Cross

This idea came from a friend in the stamp club I belong to. Now this is not even close to the one she made. Hers was the most beautiful cross I think I have ever seen. She had layer after layer of the most perfectly cut pieces. Well I don’t think I will be doing many of these. They are hard!!!! And take oh so much time…. I will be leaving this to the pro…

My First Swap

Well here is what I have been up to for the past few days. I will be sending these out today for my very first card swap. We could make Thank You or Easter cards as you can see I made Easter cards; I make enough Thank You cards as it is.
I am not sure I want to do SWAPS again, I don't like making the same card over and over again. It did go fast but I am a one of a kind, kind of gal. lol
Hope everyone has a great rest of the week.

A Quick Post (not)

My ebay order made it here today.... I just love ebay... have I told you that already. lol

Hobby Lobby was having a 1/2 off sale so here is what I got today. I really do need to go back to work... With all this time on my hands I am spending way to much.

Vicki, is it you that has the carrot tree stamp? I saw it someplace and just loved it.

This is an altered notebook I made for my niece to write all the funny things her new baby
does. We all think we will “never forget” what ever it was but truth is we do forget. We may remember what was done or said but as you add more children to the mix you may not remember who said or did it. Anyway I thought it would be fun to have a little book to jot it all down. The book didn’t turn out at all like I thought it would and I think I need to change a lot about it but here it is anyway. The second book is mine and I do like the way it turned out.

Not a card Not a stamp but hope you like it all the same.

Well not cards or stamps but thought I'd show what else I have been up to this week. These crosses are made out of cloths pens. The hardest part of this is taking the cloths pens apart. I lay them out on wax paper then glue them with wood glue. After they are dry I paint them with texture spray paint then embellish them. My youngest son wanted to put a cross over every door in our house so this is a nice way to do that.
I also made these for Christmas gifts last year and everyone just loved them.

I Need to go back to work!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok we all know I like to make cards and work in my craft room but…. I am starting to go a little stir crazy. I don’t think it is good or mentally healthy for me to have soooooooo much time on my hands. I might be posting every few days until business picks up and I am back at work more.
This first card was copied from Cynthia a stampin up demonstrator. I was having a hard time using the paisley stamp set. This works great for any occasion. I think I will try it with the emboss resist technique next time I use this set.

I found this dry erase board at Walmart for $1 last night and thought I would like to embellish it.

Love This Set Too

Ok I think my memory is really going! I saw this card this morning and knew I wanted to make (copy) it. I didn’t write down where I found it because I would remember, Right! Well I guess I drained my brain while I was up in my craft room. For the life of me I can’t remember who I copied this from. So if this is your card or close to your card could you remind me so I could give the credit back to you. And I will start to write everything down from now on.
I made a set of 4 and I really like the way they turned out. I think I will send them to my bff Sharon, she has been there for me throughout the seasons of my like. We met in high school…. So there have been many season to pass. lol

Terry's Valentine

I made this for my husband Terry for Valentines Day. He is my rock when I need one and my soft place to land when I need that. We don’t usually do the Valentines thing but I just wanted to make him a little something.

The plastic hanging parts are shrinky dink plastic, stamped and cutout.

This is a bookmark, the beads are magnetic and the heart is made out of shrinky dink plastic.
